We provide the paper industry with a new raw material for the production of paper and cardboard – grass! Or, to be more precise, it’s actually dried hay. It is prepared using our own patented process according to the requirements of the corresponding paper mill and is then incorporated into its production cycle as a raw material instead of virgin fibres (wood) or recycled paper.
We work hand in hand with the traditional paper industry and branded goods companies, develop intelligent packaging solutions and help to stem the global plastic flood.
Today’s paper industry focuses on two raw materials: virgin fibres (in other words, trees) and recycled paper (which was once also a tree, but has been used several times since). Creapaper now offers an alternative to wood through the utilisation of grass. Grass regrows quickly – unbelievably quickly, especially when compared to a tree. And unlike trees, grass plants remain alive after cutting and continue to grow. Think of it kind of like a haircut …
Every day, we contemplate how packaging could become more intelligent. What does this mean? Intelligent packaging provides optimal product protection whilst using as little packaging material as possible. It:
We’re different. We dream big, live fast, think unconventionally.
We make mistakes, but we learn from them with lightning speed. We turn a traditional industry on its head. Some love us for it, others not so much. This is our world. The world of grass paper.
Our mission is to disseminate the idea of using grass as a raw material for the paper industry all over the world. If you fancy joining us on the adventure, get in touch!
Unfortunately there are no vacancies at the moment. However, since further growth is definitely in our plans, we’re always pleased to receive speculative applications.
